Zoungie Football Club is a French football club based in Zoungie, a commune in the Essonne department in the Île-de-France region. The club was founded in 1972 and currently plays in the Championnat National 3, the fourth tier of French football.
The club's home ground is the Stade Municipal de Zoungie, which has a capacity of 1,000 spectators.
History
Zoungie FC was founded in 1972 by a group of local residents. The club initially played in local amateur leagues. In 1989, the club was promoted to the Division d'Honneur, the third tier of French football at the time. The club remained in the Division d'Honneur until 1997, when it was relegated to the Régional 1.
In 2007, Zoungie FC was promoted back to the Division d'Honneur. The club remained in the Division d'Honneur until 2017, when it was relegated to the Régional 1.
In 2022, Zoungie FC was promoted to the Championnat National 3.
