North Riding Football League

The North Riding Football League is an English football league that was founded in 2017 by the merger of the former Teesside Football League and Eskvale & Cleveland League. The league has three divisions – the Premier Division, Division One and Women's Premier Division.

History

The North Riding Football League was formed in 2017 by the merger of the former Teesside Football League and Eskvale & Cleveland League. The Premier Division of the new league was made up of the top 16 teams from the Teesside League and the top 16 teams from the Eskvale & Cleveland League. Division One was made up of the remaining teams from the Teesside League and the Eskvale & Cleveland League, as well as some new teams. The Women's Premier Division was also formed in 2017.

The North Riding Football League is currently at level 11 of the English football league system. The champions of the Premier Division are promoted to the Northern Football League, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Division One. The champions of Division One are promoted to the Premier Division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Teesside League or the Eskvale & Cleveland League.

Current season

The 2022-23 season is the sixth season of the North Riding Football League. The Premier Division is currently being led by Redcar Newmarket, while Lealholm are top of Division One. The Women's Premier Division is currently being led by Stokesley Sports Club.
