AFC Dunstable Summer Tournament

The AFC Dunstable Summer Tournament is an annual amateur football tournament held in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, England. The tournament is open to teams of all ages and abilities, and is played in a round-robin format.

History

The tournament was first held in 1999, and has been running every year since then. The tournament is organized by AFC Dunstable, a local amateur football club.

The tournament is held at the AFC Dunstable ground, located at The Warren, Dunstable, LU6 3NR. The ground has four full-size pitches, which are all used for the tournament.

Format

The tournament is played in a round-robin format, with each team playing each other once. The top two teams in each group progress to the semi-finals, and the winners of the semi-finals play in the final.

The winning team receives the championship trophy, and the runners-up receive the runners-up trophy. There are also individual awards for the player of the tournament, the top scorer, and the best goalkeeper.
