Barnet Sunday Premier League
The Barnet Sunday Premier League (BSPL) is an amateur football league based in Barnet, London. It is one of the largest Sunday leagues in the UK, with over 100 teams competing in six divisions.
History
The BSPL was founded in 1921. The first season saw just 10 teams compete, but the league has grown steadily over the years. In 2023, there are over 100 teams competing in six divisions.
The BSPL has been won by a variety of teams over the years. Some of the most successful teams include AFC Oakwood, FC Woodside, and Mill Hill Club de Futbol.
Current season
The 2023/24 season is currently underway. The Premier Division is being led by AFC Oakwood, who are unbeaten in their first four games.
The other divisions are also very competitive. In Division One, FC Woodside are top of the table, while in Division Two, Mill Hill Club de Futbol are leading the way.
