The Birmingham & District Football League (BDFA) is an amateur association football competition covering the city of Birmingham, England, and the surrounding area, for football teams playing on a Saturday.
The BDFA was founded in 1908 and is one of the oldest football institutions in the UK. It currently has over 200 member clubs playing in 10 divisions, from the Premier Division to Division Six.
The BDFA's top division, the Premier Division, is currently sponsored by Boldmere Sports & Social Club. The current champions are Old Wulfrunians.
The BDFA also runs a number of cup competitions, including the Bill Cup, the Holder Cup, the Intermediate Cup, the Jeffs Cup, the Junior Cup, the Minor Cup, the Senior Cup, the Veterans Cup, and the Junior Cup.
The Birmingham & District Football League was founded in 1908 by a group of football enthusiasts in the Birmingham area. The league's first season consisted of 12 clubs, and the first champions were Small Heath Alliance.
The BDFA has grown steadily over the years, and it now has over 200 member clubs. The league's top division, the Premier Division, is currently sponsored by Boldmere Sports & Social Club.
The BDFA has also hosted a number of notable matches over the years, including the 1923 FA Amateur Cup Final between Wednesbury Old Athletic and Bishop Auckland.
