Cameroonian Veterans Football League

The competition is FA-sanctioned and uses FA Full-Time for its official competition record. Its second season in 2026 expanded to nine veteran groups, with players registered through the league’s FA structure.

Teams and geography

CVF has a national footprint rather than being centred on one town. Its current groups include sides from Bedford, Birmingham, Derby, Leicester, Reading, Wales, Wellingborough and Wolverhampton. Those locations describe participating groups, not a fixed membership boundary.

The league is for established veteran groups rather than individual drop-in players. Prospective participants should contact an existing local CVF group or the league directly to discuss whether there is an appropriate route to join.

Football and wider connection

League football is central to CVF, alongside a community focus that grew from the earlier friendly-match network. The organisation also describes post-match Community Circles, where members share food and access talks or support on areas such as wellbeing, health, digital skills and financial literacy.

That wider activity is specific to the league’s community model; it should not be confused with a conventional local veterans division.
