Development-focused early football

The league has a dedicated development section for its youngest teams. It explains that the earliest age groups follow the FA’s “friendly football” approach: scores and league tables are not published, allowing the focus to remain on fun, player development and experience in different positions. That approach is specific to the youngest section rather than a description of every DJFL age group.

Respect and young officials
