Devon Girls Football League

The league's current official information describes a programme of more than one hundred teams. Teams on the live record include clubs connected with Axminster, Braunton, Brixington, Crediton, Dartmouth, Exmouth, Newton, Sidmouth, Torrington and Exeter; these examples illustrate the Devon-wide reach rather than a fixed boundary or full membership list.

Age groups and formats

Football is organised by youth age group, with divisions where participation supports them. The league publishes a current mini-soccer handbook and laws-of-the-game guidance, while its official resources include age-appropriate information for clubs, managers, players and parents.

The league is an early adopter of the 3v3 format at Under 7 as part of the Future Fit rollout. This is a supported format-development initiative for the youngest players; parents should still confirm the right team and format with their club for the relevant season.

Welfare and club support

The Devon Girls Football League publishes welfare information, codes of conduct, privacy guidance, fixture information and club documents. It is also recognised on England Football's Greater Game initiative, linking football participation with wider wellbeing resources for young people.
