The Dorset Youth Football League provides organised youth football for clubs and teams across Dorset. It is a competition for children and young people, with current fixtures, results and tables available through FA Full-Time.

From mini-soccer to the youth game
The league’s published handbook sets out a clear progression in playing formats. Under-7 and Under-8 teams play 5v5; Under-9 and Under-10 teams play 7v7; Under-11 and Under-12 teams play 9v9; and Under-13 to Under-18 teams play 11v11. This gives players a route from the small-sided game into full-sided youth football as they move through the age groups.
The competition operates in Dorset and is relevant to youth clubs seeking regular league football for mixed and girls’ teams. Its official site includes league notices, playing calendars and information for the people involved in the competition.
