History
The DSAFL was founded in 1978 by a group of amateur footballers in Dumfries. The league started with just eight teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has 14 teams competing in one division.
The current champions are Birchtree, who won the title in the 2022-23 season.

The current season of the DSAFL started in September 2022 and is scheduled to end in May 2023.
