The Edmonton & District Sunday Football League was founded in 1925 by a group of local enthusiasts. The first season consisted of just four teams, but the league quickly grew in popularity and now has over 300 members.
The league has produced a number of talented players over the years, including former England internationals Ray Wilkins and Trevor Brooking.
The current season is the 98th season of the Edmonton & District Sunday Football League. The defending champions are The Old Boys, who won the title in the 2021/22 season.
The current season is scheduled to start on September 11, 2022 and will end on May 28, 2023.
