About the league

Girls Super League LDN is a London grassroots competition created for girls’ football. The league says it was founded in 2021 to address a gap in local female provision, and it now offers competitive football in a girls-first environment.

Age groups and venues

The current programme is organised as GSL North and GSL West. GSL North runs six age groups from Under-9/10 to Under-16 at St James Football Pitch, while GSL West has Under-12 to Under-16 groups at Barn Elms Sport Centre. Fixtures are played at central 3G venues, with the league providing referees, match balls, bibs and other match equipment.

More than matchday

The league also hosts workshops and events, shares resources, facilitates friendlies and offers financial support for clubs with demonstrated need. It holds England Football Accredited League status and was the first London FA-affiliated all-female league to receive the accreditation.
