Current competition

FA Full-Time currently records a first division and further divisions, providing a multi-division adult programme. It also records an Under-18 section, so the competition includes youth football alongside its adult divisions. Current club allocations, fixtures and results are live details and can be checked through Full-Time.

League connections

Recent official North West Counties Football League material records an AFC Knowsley promotion from the West Cheshire League following the 2025/26 season. That provides a current example of the league’s place within the wider regional non-league landscape, without implying that promotion is automatic or available to every club.
