Hackney Youth Football League
The Hackney Youth Football League (HMSYFL) is a grassroots football league based in Hackney, London. It is one of the largest youth football leagues in London, with over 200 teams competing in a variety of age groups.
History
The HMSYFL was founded in 1976 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league has grown steadily over the years, and now has teams competing in age groups from U8s to U18s.

The HMSYFL runs a variety of competitions, including a Saturday league, a Sunday league, and a cup competition. The league also runs a number of development programs for players of all abilities.
Venues
The HMSYFL's home ground is Hackney Marshes, one of the largest football pitches in the world. The league also uses a number of other local pitches, including Mabley Green and Downs Park.
