The Hampshire FA Play On League is a flexible, participation-focused football programme run by Hampshire FA. It is designed as an alternative to traditional weekend league football, with organised midweek competition for people who want to play regularly without committing to a conventional Saturday or Sunday schedule.

Flexible formats
Hampshire FA’s Play On programme has used different formats and venues to suit local groups. Its Southampton men’s competition is listed as a 9-a-side Tuesday-night league at Stoneham Lane Football Complex, while Hampshire FA has also delivered women’s flexible 7-a-side football. Current availability, formats and locations should always be confirmed with Hampshire FA because individual programmes may change.
Getting involved
Play On is intended for established teams as well as groups of friends and players returning to football. Hampshire FA organises fixtures and provides referees, while the league’s FA Full-Time page is the place to check published competition information.
