Leicestershire Women & Girls Football League

The Leicestershire Women & Girls Football League (LWGFL) is an amateur football league for girls and women in Leicestershire and Rutland. It is affiliated to the Leicestershire & Rutland County FA.

History

The LWGFL was founded in 1989. It has grown steadily over the years and now has over 70 clubs and 350 teams.

League Structure

The LWGFL has a pyramid structure with leagues for girls and women of all ages. The top division is the Premier League, followed by the Division One, Division Two, and Division Three. There are also several cup competitions.
