Lewes District Sunday League

The Lewes District Sunday Football League is an amateur football league based in East Sussex, England. It was founded in 1967 and currently has 12 teams playing in a single division. The league is affiliated to the Sussex County Football Association.

History

The Lewes District Sunday Football League was founded in 1967 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league started with just 8 teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has 12 teams. The league is affiliated to the Sussex County Football Association and its teams compete in the Sussex County Sunday League Cup.

The current season of the Lewes District Sunday Football League started in September 2022 and is scheduled to end in May 2023. The teams are currently playing in a single division, with each team playing each other team twice. The top team at the end of the season will be crowned champions.
