Lindfield 5 A Side

Lindfield 5 A Side is an amateur football league based in Lindfield, West Sussex. The league was founded in 2005 and currently has over 30 teams competing in three divisions.

The league plays its matches at the Lindfield Recreation Ground, which is located in the heart of the village. The ground has two full-sized football pitches, which are also used by the local schools and Sunday league teams.

League Format

The Lindfield 5 A Side league is a round-robin format, with each team playing each other once during the season. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted, while the bottom two teams are relegated.

The league also has a cup competition, which is open to all teams in the league. The cup competition is played in a knockout format, with the final being played at the end of the season.
