Mzinyathi Soccer League (MSL)
The Mzinyathi Soccer League (MSL) is a regional football league based in Durban, South Africa. It was founded in 1982 and is currently the top-tier league in the Ethekwini Metropolitan Municipality. The MSL consists of 1 team playing across 1 divisions.
History
The MSL was founded in 1982 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league was originally intended to provide a competitive outlet for amateur footballers in the Durban area. The MSL has grown steadily over the years and is now one of the most popular amateur football leagues in South Africa.

The MSL has produced a number of professional footballers, including Siyabonga Nkosi, who played for Orlando Pirates and the South African national team.
Current season
The current MSL season is the 2023-2024 season. The season began in August 2023 and is scheduled to end in May 2024. The defending champions are Amazulu.
