Notts Sunday League

The Nottinghamshire Sunday Football League is an amateur football league in Nottinghamshire, England. It was founded in 1922 and currently has over 200 teams competing in its four divisions.

The league is affiliated to the Nottinghamshire FA and is eligible to enter teams into the FA Sunday Cup. The league's current champions are Phoenix Top Spot FC.

History

Notts Sunday League action

The Nottinghamshire Sunday Football League was founded in 1922 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league's first season saw just 12 teams competing, but the league has grown steadily over the years and now has over 200 teams.

The league has been home to some of the best amateur footballers in the country over the years, including former Nottingham Forest and England international Stuart Pearce.
