The Pumas division 2 is an amateur football league in Mexico City. It is the second tier of football in the city, below the Liga MX. The league was founded in 1954 and currently consists of 16 teams.
The Pumas division 2 is a competitive league, with many of the teams having former professional players. The league is also a popular destination for young players who are looking to develop their skills.

The Pumas division 2 season runs from August to May. The regular season consists of 14 games, with each team playing each other team twice. The top eight teams at the end of the regular season qualify for the playoffs.
