The Telford Combination was founded in 1971 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league started with just 10 teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has 20 teams competing in its Premier Division.

Format

The Telford Combination is a league system with promotion and relegation between the Premier Division and Division One. The season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other twice.

The top two teams in the Premier Division are promoted to the West Midlands (Regional) League, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Division One. The top two teams in Division One are promoted to the Premier Division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Telford Sunday Football League.
