Wensleydale Creamery League

The Wensleydale Creamery League is an amateur football league in North Yorkshire, England. It is affiliated to the North Riding County FA.

History

The league was founded in 1921. The original name of the league was the Wensleydale & District League. The current name was adopted in 1985.

The league has been won by a number of clubs over the years, including Richmond Town, Leyburn Town, and Hawes United.

Format

The league currently consists of two divisions, Division One and Division Two. Each division has 12 teams.

Wensleydale Creamery League match

The teams play each other twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division. The bottom two teams in each division are relegated to the next division.

Current Season

The 2023-2024 season is currently underway. The current champions of Division One are Askrigg & Bainbridge United. The current champions of Division Two are Unicorn.
