WHDJ

Introduction

The WHDJ amateur football league is a group of high schools in the Boston area that compete against each other. The league was founded in 1920 and is named after the WHDH radio station, which was a sponsor of the league at the time.

The WHDJ league is a member of the Suburban League, which is a larger organization that includes high schools from all over Massachusetts. The WHDJ league is one of the most competitive leagues in the Suburban League, and its teams have won many championships.

History

The WHDJ league was founded in 1920 by a group of high school football coaches in the Boston area. The league was originally called the Boston Metropolitan League, but it was renamed the WHDJ league in 1922.
