About Yorkshire XL11's

Eleven-a-side football for larger players

Yorkshire XL11’s is an FA-sanctioned eleven-a-side league for players who attend an approved weight-loss football programme. The competition was co-developed by EyUp Bradford FC and offers a route from small-sided activity into full-pitch football.

Read the full league overview

Although it began in Yorkshire, the league now draws teams from across a wider northern and Midlands area, including clubs linked to Bradford, Cleveland, Darlington, Harrogate, Leeds, Lincoln, Newcastle, Nottingham, Rotherham and Teesside. These examples reflect current participation rather than a fixed boundary.

Current competition

The league currently uses Premiership and Championship sections. Matches are generally played on Sundays, and the programme includes league and cup football.

The competition is designed for people combining football with weight-management support. Players interested in taking part should contact an approved local programme or a current team. FA Full-Time provides live fixtures, results and tables.
