Once upon a time there was a lowly lying division seven team struggling to ever pull a win out of the bag and then a change of management and change of direction came to the club and now ever the most succesful season ever they've even managed to string three wins together! two being against the top of league and todays victory agaisnt The Alpine just proved we are now a force to be reckoned with.

Even though the don came out on top they were second best through the first half, with The Alpine pinning the Don in for long periods of time. A great chance came there way when early on in the first half they forced a corner. from the resulting corner Lee headed towards his own goal which was saved by Steve the ball then bounced to Lee again who vollied it towards his own goal but was well saved by Steve again. The alpine again came at the don, a run down the left ther winger whipped the ball in but was cut out by Lee, the ball shot towards goal and nearly lobbed Steve, his new boots need to know which way there shooting.

Moments later The Alpine had a freekick on the edge of the area. It was struck with frury and rattled the crossbar, the keeper was well beaten. The only really effort of note from the Don was from Tom Groom when he struck a long range strike which was tipped onto the cross bar and the rebound was cleared by the defender.

The Don relected on the first half and was happy to be going in on level terms. The second half The Don started brightly and pushed back the Alpine, the don won a freekick on the half way line a drilled free kick was taken by Elvis and was missed by everyone and was so close to going in only missing by cm's. the fresh legs of Jake sempt to catch out the Alpine and his trickery won the Don a pen, Tom stood up to take the pen but blazed the ball over the bar. The final sub was made Jepo on for Stepho. With The Alpine ever pressing for the equalisier were raining shots in on the Dons goals, one well saved by Steve the others were delt well with by the defence who cleared any danger, with only ten mins later Tom popped up again and played Jake through who slotted home well, Jake has made a real impact today.

With the match really over we thought the final mins who play out with out much of a problem, we were wrong, up steps Jepo!!!
