As usual borussia's boys met at the usual brucie HQ on dundas gardens.Followed by a depart in the Cree - Mobile . On arrivin at fortress caedmon early doors Borussia were relieved the wind levels had dropped since the previous match (unless you count the wind eminatin from Clint Sned's rectum).
Borussia were also boosted by the return of midfield man Mikey Jeffrey after 10weeks out wiv 2broken toes and also midfield lynch pin John 'the shaft' Shaw. The only down fall was Reeves missin after he clipped his nail awkwardly during one of his weekly groomin sessions and caused himself an ingrowin toe nail.
Match
Both teams were hungry for this clash and it showed as the game started at a fast pace both teams pingin the ball about nicely.As the half went on Borussia started to take control and it showed as Sneddon and Brown flowed forward to assist attack settin up Brennan Crabtree and Purvis all for shots on target. Shaw and Mikey Jeffrey were introduced to the fray and got stuck straight into the game like they had never been away. Just approachin the break Forsyth nearly took the lead wen a series of about 25passes from all the team Shaw layed off 4 Purvis who drove a lovely shot bendin towards the goal but was unlucky 2 see his effort clip the upright.
2nd half
Fylingdales started well and had a couple of good efforts that were well saved from deputy keeper Deano Jeffrey. Borussia got there passin game back and passed lovely but were guilty of overplayin and not gettin shots away. Both teams pressed for the ball and Borussia were unlucky not to have the lead when Brennan neatly poked the ball under the keeper and into the net but the goal was wrongly ruled out by stand in ref Scott Goldy!! Borussia left fumin, more mistakes from the ref occured as the 2nd half went on,,firstly Fylingdales keeper blatently came out of his box and no decision came from the ref then a minute later Cree was through on goal and was hacked down,,but unsuprisingly nothing was given!! this rilled centre back Brown who was lucky 2stay on the field wen he took down raf's forward when clear through, but nothin came from the resultin free kick and chances were few nd far between as the game fizzled out.
Overall a solid borussia performance, on another day with a diffrent qualified ref Borussia would have taken all 3points but it wasn't to be.
