Team News

Borussia were a team unchanged from there last weeks defeat against title favourite house of love. Bffc could not wait for this fixture to come round and wash the bitter taste of defeat out of their brucie mouths. Again Clint, Cree/wagbow and Bullet of bffc elite met at brucie headquarters whilst The Cat, Deano and younger sibling Mikey Jeff battled the elements of the new bridge a task which was not to be under estimated as gale force winds came with great vengence and furious anger. Jord Purvis yet again arrives early! Missing and still unheard of was J Shaw (dead?) and M Jeffrey ( 2 Broken Toes)

1st half

With atrocious conditions with players from both sides struggling to stand up straight like the late Michael Jackson doing the smooth criminal lean, the match kicked off.

Bffc started slow, trying to adjust to the conditions and work out how to use the wind to there advantage. Long balls was a no no..!! it was important to get the first goal which Borussia went in search of and it didn’t take long Cree and Purvis played a nice one two, Like Ryan Giggs on Imogens tits, Cree slipped Deano "gattuso" in who finished clinically by firing his shot low and hard past the on rushing keeper .

The game ambled along, and Shooters fc nearly caught Bffc off guard when they nicked the ball off Brown with the Cat left one vs one a low shot was stopped by the Cats right whisker. This seem to spur Bffc on who then took control of the game. Some wonderful passing, with moves at times linking with every single bffc player Purvis was trying his look from long range narrowly missing on numerous occasions. Whilst Clint sned fresh from the med was rampaging up a down the wing like mad man. Brown settled and got more into the game marshalling his troops and some no nonsence trade mark defending was displayed. As ever deano the midfield virtuoso got more into the game with some crunching tackles partnering Crabtree arguably the player of the season so far had a quiet first half but this was soon change as long legs was set to burst onto the scene. As the half was drawing to a close brown launched the ball forward finding purvis lurking with intent the Phillip dixon at east whitby school he then dummied the on rushing defender laying the ball into Crees path, and without having to break stride Cree unleashed a drive with exquisite technique arching the ball round the defender nearly breaking the net in 2. Bffc then began to enjoy there football and could taste victory.

2nd half

With condtions arguably getting worse Bffc kicked off and almost immediatly were rewarded with the 3rd goal of the game. When Jeffery chased a lost cause managing somehow to keep the ball in play turned on a sixpence on the left peg and found the lurking little predator Lee Cree Brennan, who in turn passed the ball passed the helpless keeper. Bffc were then allowed more freedom (than Phillip Dixon being released from Hull Hmp Prison after doing 4 weeks hard time) to play the attractive trade mark football. Step up to centre stage mr Crabtree after seemingly having enough of not yet being on the score sheet, the 35 and a half foot tall midfielder took the game by the scruff of the neck. Neet interplay by Deano and Cree realeased the big man to march on through the shooter defence placing his shot in the bottom left corner with a plumb. Clint sned was getting more and more into the game with some delicate touches neat trickery and shouts of encouragement spurring his team mates on, also trying his luck from range but not managing to add to his only goal of the season as pundits mentioned from the touchline Clints goal is not to far away. With Brown and Clint playing in sync it was Browns turn to venture forward finding Purvis who then with a dink found the on rushing Crabtree with only one thing his mind yes thats right 5-0 to Bffc. Bffc the saved there best till last a move starting from the cat finding Bullet then in turn found Clint sned with his trademark scoop found Deano in space who had time to look up and sent a delightful ball Purvis's way who then searched a long ball finding little Cree with his first touch layed it on a plate for unmarked Crabtree who composed his self took his time and with a hat trick in his sites gave the keeper the eyes and drilled hom for Borussias 6th of the game.

A great all round performace in tretchaous conditons gave Borussia a well deserved victory and sent them back to winning ways. Also it was gud to see young Mikey Jeffery supporting from the touchline finally seeing light of day after being stuck in the house for over a month with broken toes which drastically had to be removed. Hopefully Mikey will be joining up with Borussia in the near future all be it with with minus to toes.

Forsyth now have a weeks break for bank holiday and then are back for a 2nd v 3rd clash against RAF Fylingdales.
