Away league match played on 04 January 2015.
Kicked off at 10:00 AM

the lads turned up today to a misty cold morning where many thought the game would be called off. the game was a go and the lads wanted to get started in 2015 with a solid win. After a 2-2 draw last time at home the Coach knew they had what it takes to beat Plaza this time round. thanks to Box and daz who made the trip and helped out with the liner having no recieved a strip today. Also questions were asked to the where abouts of the white makilele, however manager Holt made a blunder with his new phone and he did not text him. This was concern for Holt as smith was in flying form at the end of 2014.

The lads started well, Ward and Paterson defending well and holding their attackers at bay. Mike down the right wing tearing their left back a new one. Lloyd, Meakin and Malkin bossing the middle, Coach looked sure to score. Batch came close, Lloyd came close but it was not meant to be. the lads switched off after a foul throw that was allowed to play and the ball was crosed into the box for the first time in the game and Plaza went up 1-0 at the back post.

Coach responded Quickly and Holt latched onto a ball from Malkin, who found Batch in the box who slotted home to make it 1-1. Half time

Coach were not in the game at the start of the half playing poorly and not getting out of first gear. Harnett came off for Dave Farr at this point to see if we could get fresh legs on the full back. At first it seemed to fail after the substitution Plaza scored to make it 2-1 from a throw in and an unmarked man smashed it home.

But again Coach responded, A ball from Lloyd to Malkin who looked up and saw the keeper off his line tracking back and lobbed him from 18 yards.

A few moments later Keiran who came on for Ben at half time was pushed in the box, this was not given, Plaza scored on the counter, 3-2 down were the coach. This felt unjust but Coach kept pushing.

A throw in from malkin to the Head of lloyd who found Did waiting on the back post who slotted in to score and bring the lads level. A goal he felt balanced out from the goal he was a part of early in the game.

From here the lads kept pushing, kept coming back and thinking surely not again, lets break this run and beat a team from when we were behind. The ball was kicked from the hands of greatrex, who found Lloyd with a gratious cruiff touch and slotted a weighted ball to malking who took the keeper on one on one and scored. 4-3 the coach. Following this, a battle was won in the middle, Lloyd scrapped and took on 2 players who found Holt who saw the early run from Malkin and with a glorously weighted ball found him and again Malkin slotted home for his hat trick. Coach win 5-3.

The lads showed a lot of charactor today and came back from losing 3 times, they stayed positive and the subs were more than willing to do their roles. Everyone taking part and keeping coach and Horses top of the league for another week.

Should mention a good free kick from Harnett today here too.
