Enzo hosted Soccer at Kaliyeka Primary School Ground on the morning of 9 May 2026, with kick-off at 10:10am in a 60-minute friendly match plus five minutes of extra time. The contest ended 1-0 in favour of Enzo, who secured a narrow victory thanks to a late goal in the second half.

Enzo lined up in a 3-4-1-2 formation, deploying three defenders at the back with Razack Tembo on the right, Bornface Jamali centrally, and Kalebe Phiri on the left. The midfield four consisted of Emmanuel Jossam on the right flank, Hussein Justin and Christopher Banda occupying central midfield roles, and Hamid Fakili on the left wing. Aaron Maulidi operated just behind the front two, Evalisto Lewis on the right forward position, and Abel Phiri on the left forward spot. This setup was designed to provide defensive solidity through the back three while allowing width and creativity from the midfield line, with Maulidi expected to link play between midfield and attack. Enzo’s substitutes bench featured Faluku William, Justin Magalasi, Renald Chipole, and Promise Saiti.

The match began with Enzo pressing early, Emmanuel Jossam testing the opposition goalkeeper with a shot saved in the fourth minute. Aaron Maulidi followed up with an effort wide of the target four minutes later, signalling Enzo’s intent to break down Soccer’s defence. Jossam again attempted a strike in the 13th minute but sent his shot high over the bar.

Defensively, Razack Tembo was alert and effective, intercepting a promising Soccer attack in the 21st minute to prevent a clear chance. Enzo’s attacking play was highlighted in the 25th minute when Evalisto Lewis delivered a precise slide rule pass that created a genuine opportunity, though it ultimately went unconverted. Bornface Jamali committed a foul for obstruction on the half-hour mark, but no penalty was awarded.

The first half concluded at 30 minutes, with Enzo making a tactical substitution shortly after the break. Evalisto Lewis was replaced by Faluku William in the 32nd minute, aiming to inject fresh energy into the forward line. Four minutes later, Abel Phiri was forced off injured and replaced by Justin Magalasi. Magalasi made an immediate impact, testing the goalkeeper with a saved attempt in the 40th minute.

Further tactical changes followed as Renald Chipole came on for Aaron Maulidi at the 45th minute mark, and Promise Saiti replaced Christopher Banda five minutes later. These substitutions reflected Enzo’s intent to maintain control and press for a decisive goal.

In the 54th minute, Hussein Justin played a long pass that carved open the opposition defence, creating another chance for Enzo. Razack Tembo once again demonstrated his defensive prowess with a crucial tackle in the 55th minute, denying Soccer a potential equaliser. The breakthrough came in the 59th minute when Tembo delivered a pinpoint cross from the right flank into the box, where Hamid Fakili struck a left-footed finish from just outside the area to score the only goal of the game.

Soccer pushed forward in search of an equaliser, with substitute Justin Magalasi firing wide in the 64th minute, but Enzo held firm to secure the victory. Razack Tembo’s consistent defensive interventions and his assist for the match-winning goal earned him the player of the match accolade.

Enzo’s disciplined 3-4-1-2 formation and well-timed substitutions proved decisive in this tightly contested friendly, as they edged out Soccer 1-0 at Kaliyeka Primary School Ground.
