Home league match played on 03 April 2011.
Kicked off at 2:00 AM

Our last home game of the 2010-2011 season vs Fleur De Lys A a game which was one of our games in hand over WPTs and a game we needed to win to keep up the pressure.

We started with a 4-5-1 with kieron getting the nod to led the line upfront with ryan s toby and josh taking there places on the bench.

We started with a confident attitude putting fleurs under pressure from the opening whistle and within the opening 2mins we showed our intent that it was goals we was looking for with max breaking clear and testing the keeper forcing him to make a good save, but the outcome was a little different just a min later with alfie chasing down a loss ball winning it from the keeper he turned and found max in empty space picking him out for max to tap home from 3 yards to this time give the keeper no chance putting us 1-0 ahead after just 3mins.

We soon found ourselves in total control and created three very good chances in the matter of mins first on 5 mins kieron had a shot cleared off the line after being put through by sam, then on 6 mins max picked out lewis with a good cross but being put under pressure lewis dragged his shot just shy of the far post and on 8 mins alfie smashed the ball just over the bar from a goal mouth scramble, three very good chances to get our second went begging but with the style of football we were playing it was more when and not if we would get the next goal.

The second finaly came on 18mins ryan n broke up a fleurs attack slipping in a ball to cameron who picked out a pin point throuh ball for kieron who confidently drilled the ball past the keeper to make it 2-0 and he could of followed that up just a few mins later with his second max swung in a great cross kieron got his head on the end of it only to find the keeper who made a great reflex save, which he again made another save from jack after an alfie corner.

We continued to pile on the pressure and with billy looking lonely in goal we pushed forward yet again and on 26mins cameron picked out alfie who finished from closs range giving the keeper no chance to put us 3-0 up that then spurned us on to go on to get another two quick fire goals first on 28mins cameron found himself in lots of space to tuck home his second of the game to put us 4-0 ahead and on the stroke of half time kieron turned the defender inside the box and slotted home our fifth on 29mins after a great cross from max which sent us in 5-0 ahead at the break, however we could of already hit double figures other than some great saves from the fleurs keeper.

We made one change at half time bringing on josh to replace sam for his first full half in the last three months something he was asking for and has worked very hard to get.

We started the second half in the same form hitting them from the whistle getting stuck in closing them down and spreading the play using both wings, defending from the front and attacking from the back everyone pulling there wait and we could of had our sixth on 34mins max slipped clear of the fleurs defence but dragged his shot wide, it showed we were not going to sit back and settle for 5 we wanted more and the lads could smell blood as fleurs still battled but you could tel there heads were slowly slipping.

Olly then found kieron down the left who took on the defence cut back and picked out alfie who smashed the ball home in style making the score 6-0 on 36 mins and kill off any chance of a fleurs come back.

After 42 mins josh found himself in shooting distance to get his comeback goal but blasted over, but on 44mins alfie was put through by kieron down the left after cutting inside he rounded the keeper with so much confidence to find an empty net to slot home and seal his hat-rick in style and to make it 7-0.

The fleurs heads finaly went and as we pushed and pushed we run into a goal streak on 46 mins alfie and kieron played a great little one two outside the box finding cameron who with a quality little back heel tricked the defender turning him inside out to then drill home from 6 yards to make it 8-0 then in the 48th min, alfie soon netted his fourth of the game picking up from a goal mouth scramble he smashed the ball past the keeper leaving him with no chance to make it 9-0 on 49mins, it didnt end the there pressure continued and on 50 mins jack cut inside the box and picked out cameron at the back post with an inch perfect cross for cameron to grab his hat-rick and hit the double figures mark making it 10-0 with still 10mins left to play.

Lewis nearly made it 11 on 50 mins straight from the fleurs kick off jacks pressure won us a free kick which kieron swung in from the right lewis rose to head just wide of the post, but straight from the resulting goal kick on 51 mins cameron gambled on a lose kick from the keeper he spotted him off his line and in outstanding form he lifted the ball over the keepers head to make it 11-0 and to also grab his fourth of the game and seal it with the worm.

With time ticking way there was still time for one more goal and it came from a player who deserved to get himself on the score sheet on 53 mins josh pushed himself up field driving into the fleurs box and with the ball falling to his feet he drilled the ball home like an out and out striker to make it 12-0 our highest league score of the season.

We then made three changes replacing jack for ryan n kieron for toby and alfie for max.

Billy didnt have much to do all game however kept his consentration when called opon and helping to get us pushing forward with his kicking, all round from the lads at the back to the midfield and the strikers all over the field we balled worked hard and played some great team football.

Man of the match went to cameron who with his tricks, hard work, goals and creativity cutting himself just above the rest but overall an outstanding performance and one step closer to the silver wear i know you lot desreve.

Up the HAWKS am proud of you all ;)
