Home friendly match played on 02 May 2015.
Kicked off at 5:00 PM

New opponents this week as we faced Dynamics FC, an Indian team and one solo Chinese. Incepcion started the game very well and Pat opened the scoring after fine work down the flank by Harold. At this point, Incepcion was controlling the game and Colin put his side 2 up after an assist by Jason. After a cushion, Incepcion was back to their old habits and let their foot off the gas paddle. Dynamics started to put pressure on Incepcion defence and a penalty was conceded after SK elbowed the ball. Sherman did well by guessing the right way and saved the penalty. Dynamics refused to give up and managed to rock the bar and Sherman making another fine save just before the break.

Second half team talk was to play simple football and get full control of the game. Incepcion was 3 nil up after Pat sprinted down the right corner and laid a perfect pass for the incoming Colin to put it away with ease. Damo capped his fine work day in the office with a screamer from outside the box. Colin then wrapped up his hat trick for the day making the final score 5-0. Well played team!

This week's MOM goes to Sherman for the game changing penalty save and also the clean sheet he kept with several saves. Well done Sherman!

This week's game also saw a near melee involving several players which was totally uncalled for. I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of your social responsibility you have not just to yourself, but also towards your own team mate's safety. Players who consistently look for altercations does not fit into our club principles. I urged everyone not to have this repeated again.

This week also saw our regular weeknight game at Tampanies Safra against Oracle. Incepcion took the game from the start with Harold grabbing his hat trick and putting incepcion3-0 up within the first 30 mins or so. First half ended 3-0.

In the second half, Incepcion somehow collapsed defensively after SK misplaced a pass and allowed Oracle to pull one goal back beating Sherman in the near post. The next 15 minutes was pure hell as the defence were overworked when Loy playing for Oracle, stepped up 3 gears. Oracle scored 3 successive goals after the midfield losing possession. First was a dummy from Loy which trickled past Sherman, another went through the legs and the 3rd one was unstoppable which put Oracle 4-3 up.

Not to be outdone, Incepcion made up for the lapse in concentration and Colin equalized. From then on, it was one way street and 2 more goals were scored after fine play from the wing backs, Bee and Jiunn. They released early for the wingers and they crossed for Harold and Siong for the finish. Final score - 6-4.

This week's MOM goes to Jeff. Below are some comments during the post-game banter interviews conducted by BBC. Well done Jeff!

Jenson " Jeff North, Jeff South"
