An awesome comeback from the Wolves sealed our 2nd place spot with another well deserved victory. With 4 fellow wolves on target today, we show no mercy and killed the game off the Wolves way.

Kicked off the game under the extreme weather, both teams only had one goal in mind; 3points.

Right from the start, Wolves had more of the possession and managed to string a number of good football around the pitch. And in just 5mins into the game, Welson found some space, collected the ball from the wing and passed it first time to Weihao whom tries a long shot which went past the net.

Deaf United played a ultra high line and managed to control the flow of our game as wingers were caught offside many times. Closest chance came by during 15min, where Weihao was pressing up high and managed to force an error by the goalie just outside the box, but he places the ball wide. Wasn't having his best game today, still dint managed to convert two other good opportunities played by our midfield maestro Shawn Seah.

However with Wolves having a better possession, Deaf United were first to broke the deadlock, with a through ball straight into the striker's path and defenders failed to track back and still calling for offside, he took the defense on and sends the ball into the net. YET again, a reminder to all! PLAY TO THE WHISTLE!!

First equalizer came shortly after, opposition goalkeeper blunders and made another error and this time round, Kelvin Teo kept his head cool and managed to roll it past the net, game on!

Went into half-time with the scores leveled at 1-1, Wolves performance was slightly dipping comparing to the initial minutes of the game.

Just 5mins into the second, Deaf United were back in front from a long range shot out of no where, went straight past the keeper's hand. Clayton Soh should have done alot better in that shot!

A tactical switch during the break, Sam was introduced to bring more speed and aggression in the center of the park which was proven very effective with the pinpoint distributions to the wings and one of it found Alex out wide, taking on the fullback, he managed to send a beautiful cross in which Edwin headed backwards to Sam, and with only the keeper to beat, he blast it into the net. Great teamplay over there for the second equalizer!

A clumsy tackle by Deaf United found themselves facing a direct freekick just outside the box, Alex steps over it and placed it calmly into the top left corner. What a shot! Wolves were back in the driving seat.

Deaf United still carried on the high line which was slowly cracked open by our center midfielders. Sebas was doing exceptionally well to destroy any incoming plays from them and Gerald was almost everywhere and chasing them down and to link up our play.

A little moment of brilliant-ness from Qiyi Wen, managed to recover the ball from the attack of Deaf, skips past two players and with great vision, sent a deadly ball into the front line which splits the gates of Deaf opened, Gerald found himself one on one with the keeper, but unselfishly lays the ball to Edwin and he slots the ball into the net. Good play by Qiyi who orchestrated this goal and congrats to Edwin who scores his first for the league.

Just 10mins more to play, Mark was controversially awarded a penalty from a hassle in the defense, the defender was furious and confronted the referee, blurt some insulting remarks to him and eventually sees red and was sent off..

As Mark was preparing to open his account from the spot, Deaf United players were surrounding the referee and argued with the decision but was waived off. However, Mark blasted it over the top of the crossbar.

Great comeback guys! The skills, fighting spirit, determination and passion was all clearly shown in each Wolves today. We put up a good fight and claim a well deserved victory.

Some pointers to take note, once AGAIN, PLAY TO WHISTLE. We emphasize many times on regards to that and we were lucky that the goal dint cost us.

Also, we will be playing again with Deaf United the next week, knowing that they are used to play a ultra high line, we have to be witty about it and take them on with diagonal balls into the wings and then sending back into the middle. Else pushing it up with some beautiful passes like how we did it today and play for another victory.

Once again, good job Wolves!
