Away friendly match played on 19 January 2014.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

We played against local rivals Lakenheath in a friendly fixture and was fought hard and fair by both teams. Lakenheath started of the better team with much more better possession and usage of the ball, until the boy's in the middle Connor, Todd and Joe got to grips with the game creating near chances for Rob's header and Dan's shots. Lakenheath did break away well which created a chance which was well saved by Thomaz only for a the ball to hit the back of the net of our defender to give Lakenheath a much deserved lead. We did come back into the the game with Andy linking well with the midfield and Ben Smith solid in the middle of the defence. On the stroke of HT Rob Armourcontrolled well and passed to Dan Ryan who with three defenders around him just outside the box let fly to equalise at HT 1-1

Second half we were in total control even if our shots were not on target we spread the play around well and started to enjoy the game, the Lakenheath keeper and defence were playing well but couldn't stop Mildenhall form adding a couple more goals through Joe Kelly and Ryan Day with assists from Fatti and Rob once again. 1-3 FT

Generally a good game to watch and try some players in different posistions they may not usually play.
