Away league match played on 20 March 2022.
Kicked off at 9:30 AM

With 3 games left to play for Di Stefano it was all about keeping the pressure on the others at the top as they have control of title but strange things can happen in the run in to the end of the season. So winning these 3 games are a must.

The game today was against Tardelli who have struggle dto get going all season but we couldn't let that get in the way of how we played today.

From the off we pressed hard and looked to win every loose ball, tackle or 50/50 and early on chances where being created, however Tardelli had stood up to the challenge and the keeper looked a steady pair of hands.

After 10 mins the breakthrough finally came when Drew received the ball down the right and burst into the box from the wide right, he had options in the box to square the ball but decided he could see enough of the goal and cleanly placed the ball into the far corner. 1-0

shortly after the goalkeeper took a goal kick which went straight to Jack W who pounced on it and struck the ball with venom into the opposite corner to Drews goal to make it 2-0.

At this stage the heads of Tardelli had started to drop and the game became much easier for us. Archie got the ball at the halfway line and played possibly the best pass of the game which put Drew through on goal to grab his 2nd. 3-0

Before we had time to catch breath Oliver won the ball back and went on a bit of a run before drilling his shot home to make it 4-0.

Then goal scored turned provider when Oliver won a flick out to Drew who then charged towards goal and agin placed th ball into the corner from outside the box to seal a first half hat trick and a Β£5 off his dad. 5-0

Just before half time Jack W got the ball out wide on the left and had space ad time to measure a perfect cross that looped towards George who instinctively headed the ball like a pro into the corner of the goal to make it 6. 6-0

Half time

The second half was very disjointed as the team shape was changed by the coach to a 3-4-3 although at times it looked like a 1-3-6 as the team smelt blood and a chance of getting their names on the scoresheet.

After just a minute Oliver added to his tally when Uday won the ball back and worked it out to him and he got into the box a neatly finished. 7-0

Jack T then added to the scoring after a series of shots had either been saved blocked or his the bar as George did before landing to Jack who put it in the net. 8-0

Again with Tardelli box swamped with players and the ball bouncing all over he place, Flynn reacted to a loose ball and tucked away one for 9-0.

Oliver was provider once again when he set Jack T off to score his second of the match. 10-0

The team was getting a little frustrated at some of the reffing decisions when George was brought down in the box for a definite foul and was also giving offsides when the play was clearly not, but they kept on pushing and the game had one more great goal which was from Udays corner to an unmarked Archie who headed the ball whilst running away from goal and tucked it right in the corner. 11-0

Full time.

POTM went to Drew who got a quick fire hat trick in the first half and really set Tardelli on the down ward slide.

2 games to go in the league and we just need to keep applying pressure to the top teams, and then you never know!!!
