last league game of radley under 13s season vs oxford irish. todays game was all about giving it there all and boy didnt we have a great game to watch.knowing that  only a win and hoping that other teams done us a favour would keep radley in the b league next season. starting with a 3 4 3 formation i thought if the team could get a early goal then we would resort back to a more defensive formation of 442 or even 451. team talk was honest and too the point with everyone knowing there duties and what was expected. radley started off well when charlie and corey going very close well the bar saved irish and then one cleared off the line. was this going to be another one of those days? charlie open up the scoring and then irish equalised from a corner on which we have been at times this season not great in the marking and closing down. then irish went a goal up from a scrappy goalmouth scramble. half time we were 2,1 down but with most of the play and more chances. always true when yah at the bottom you never get the luck. 2nd half same again radley pressed and created a hatfull of chances, then the breakthrough when charlie toe punts one in from a tight angle for 2,2. all irish had was the long boot and time and time again there front runners was trying to boss there way through? then irish went 3,2 up but the lads never gave up then charlie scored his thrid of the day. now im not just saying this to make it look something it wasnt but radley outplayed irish all over the park and really deserved three points after our thrid went in it was only a matter of tie when radley scored a forth but it wasnt to be. looking back now and having a couple of nights sleep i can still recall about 7 attemps which would of gone in on another day.radley looked like a team fresh and really up for it. this peformance has got to of been there best in the league this season. closing down, tracking back, passing, moving and the way they all pulled in the same direction was really good to see.with five subs this was a game where i couldnt bring everyone on and sorry to the two which never had a run out.now i have the opportunity to just go through this league season just gone.at the start before the league started i was worried that we would not have enough players then all of a sudden within two  weeks i had 7 new players comming to training wanting to sign on. with me being me i decided to sign on six extra players and not to sign on the 7th. some players have not started many games and not had that great amount game time but looking back using 5 subs throughout the game is quite a task. so looking back on this issue i feel i did sign to many players on, only nico had a few weeks out injured and owen missed one game and charlie missed a couple. so most weeks i had 16 players. next season i will only sign on a maximum of 14 players. i can still sign on 16 but to say to a couple of players your not required for such and such a game isnt really fair. at times at training i have been interuptted by players talking, fighting, mucking around not listening and and been disruptive. next season this will not happen full stop anyone and i mean anyone that mucks about will be asked to leave and will not be selected for the game that week.ive been to soft full stop and next season players and parents will see a different kevin not a shouting and screaming type? one that wants 100 percente at  training and at games.i want all players to enjoy thereselfs and really put in an effort. anyone got any queries then please get in contact with myself.
