Home friendly match played on 13 December 2009.
Kicked off at 1:00 PM

A quickly arranged friendly for Rosehill saw an impressive performance from Rosehill in difficult conditions that normally dont suit Rosehill's style of play.

The pitch was a little waterlogged in the centre and in both goalmouths and the game was always going to be difficult.

Dean Valley Mens are a league above and in the first half an hour Rosehill did not get out of the starting blocks and DVM playing 3 up front caused some major problems for Rosehill.

Adam made a couple of fine saves early on with the new defensive line up of Joe Howard, Tuggy, Max and Tuggy needed time to sort themselves out as this was indeed a new line up.

Rosehill started to play after the first half an hour and dominated up until the break with a team move ended with Stonham opening the scoring.

Rosehill continued to doninate the game with some of the best football they have played this season.

A hat trick from Charlie alker and a goal from midfielder James Sharp saw an impressive 5-0 win for Rosehill.

In three out of the last four games Rosehill have conceded goals and defeat in the last fifteen minutes but not this time.

The defensive line up was dogged, first to every ball and were defensively sound with Chris and Tuggy having great performances.

Max had his best ever game in a Rosehill shirt at left back and debutant Joe Howard was amazing at right back with some critical and goal saving tackles to rightly deserve Man of the Match.

The midfield was very strong again with James Defreitas finding that extra bit of energy who with Sharpy controlled the midfield and were first to every ball.

Jamie Kukleberry Kuxhaus had a tremendous performance having his best game in a Rosehill shirt only getting taken off due to an injury he sustained the day before. Aaron Dysart had his best performance ans was quick going forward and causing problems for the DVM defence. Lewis and Shrubby came on as substitutes for Jamie and Aaron. Marky came on for the last fifteen minutes with a sound performance.

Alex Sewell an avid supporter of Rosehill refereed the match and did exceptionally well considering this was the first time he had refereed a game.

Things are looking good for Rosehill with 15 goals in the last 2 games only conceding 1 which proves good for the future.

Rosehill can still win the league, but need Downs to slip up and can gain promotion going up in second place.

A gret performance lads and into 2010 on a winning streak will mean that Rosehill's season can only get better.

Well done lads keep it up!!! See you at Moulescoomb Leisure Centre on Tuesday night.
