Away league match played on 20 November 2010.
Kicked off at 12:00 AM

The Game at Woodbridge was played on a decent pitch with the weather turning colder as the game went on ( at least it seemed like that)

Sax started well and put the home team under pressure from the start, Ed opened the scoring after 6 minutes when he was set up by Rossi and stuck it past the keeper to get us off to a good start and to help the team settle, Woodbridge had a player up front who we were told was lightning quick but a combination of Tom's speed and good positional play and Sam's enthusiastic defending would make sure that he didn't do us any damage. The lads had several chances to double our lead before Kyle managed to get the 2nd after Arron put in 1 of his corners The keeper looked like he had it but it slipped through his hands and fell to Kyle to tap it in and make it 0-2. The home team did their best to get forward and showed some good play but the lads at the back and Jack had it all under control, Jack desperate for his 3rd clean sheet in a row.

We made some changes at half time to get Sludgy, Connor and Luke on the pitch and at the restart the home team came at us with some good play and looked threatening it took a while for the lads to settle but they slowly got back on top and got back on top of the game again.55 minutes and Rossi and Ed linked up Ed played the ball in and Connor had a simple tap in for his 6th of the season to show that he can score from close in as well as the spectacular from 30 yards. Rossi had another chance to get on the score sheet but he hit it straight at the keeper, Sludgy then made a decent run down the left but his shot went wide (Tommy had a little Giggle in the dugout I have it on tape if anyone wants a listen)

61 minutes in and after Sax had been dominating possession Ed got the ball and laid it to Arron who cut it on to his right foot and bent it in the top corner a great finish. Ryan was up next scoring a great goal from outside the area it went in off the underside of the bar he is capable of scoring those type of goals and hopefully he can start getting a few more of those. Connor and Ed linked up again for number 6 this time Connor put the ball across for Ed to tap in and then Strow scored number 7 as Sludgy won the ball on the left skilled 3 players and laid it on a plate for Strow to tap it in.

We scored 4 tap ins today which is pleasing to see as we are always trying to get the lads to play the ball across goal and look for those type of goals, Woodbridge were down to the bare 11 at the start of the game and finished with 9 on the pitch so credit to them for the game today they kept going and gave it there best shot. And thanks to Karl for stepping in to Ref the game after the original ref had to cancel following a motorcycle accident.

Well done lads 3 clean sheets in a row and 23 goals scored, It will be a harder test next week at Debenham but we know that the lads are up to it and if they play their best are a match for anyone in the league.
