The game started on a very sticky pitch and was never going to be a spectacle but nevertheless both teams made it a very entertaining game. After 13 minutes Ben Baptiste got a yellow card for a trip. After 26 minutes St Michaels took a deserved lead when Danny Baptiste thumped in from a Dan Regan pass. St Michaels missed a couple of open goals and almost paid the price when on 45 minutes a foul in the box by Connor Reardon led to a penalty that was put past the post by the Camden player. Half Time came with the score 0 – 1 to St Michaels.

 

On 50 minutes Dan Regan was booked for a trip. After 63 minutes Bill Porter came on for Dan Regan and 7 minutes later James Mckerrell replaced Arran Amer. After 73 minutes a corner was bundled in by Camden to level the score at 1 – 1.  10 minutes later a free kick from Dan Tarrant saw Connor Reardon  tap in to restore St Michaels lead.

 

With 3 minutes to go a rash foul by Harry Graham led to another penalty award for Camden This time the penalty was superbly saved by Harry Graham to make amends. From the resulting corner with St Michaels still celebrating the save and defensively in disarray, there was a scramble in the box which resulted in the equaliser. St Michaels however still had a couple of chances with Jack Jolly unluckily heading against the post.with a minute to go. The final score was 2 – 2.

 

Whilst St Michaels were disappointed to drop 2 points they did not play badly on a very poor pitch and but for their finishing they would have won comfortably.

 

Good performance in goal from Harry Graham but Man of the Match this week goes to Harry Smart with a faultless display coming it at Centre Half.
