Away league match played on 29 January 2012.

Right:

...Only joking.

The game started off lively, with Stonefield scoring two early goals within the first ten minutes, including an impressive goal from Jake from far out. Ten minutes in, and the Stones start to get complacent, making sloppy passes at the back. It was going to happen sooner or later, but Hertsmere eventually scored after careless play from the Stonefield defence. Tempers were running high at this point, until Mully started on one of Hertsmere’s kids, and then decided to stroll of the pitch, supposedly to make it harder for the opposition to score, as the game would be without his useless kicking/catching/throwing. After changing his mind and remaining on the pitch, the rest of the first half was fairly quiet, and Stonefield went into the break leading by two goals to one.

The start of the second half went by quickly, with few chances coming about. Stonefield dominated possession, and eventually increased their lead through Carl Collins, who scored his second of the game. Just over ten minutes later, Carl Collins completed his hat trick by what could only be described as a Danny King goal. Tommy came on as a late sub to try his hand at playing as a not so emergency striker, and has added to the list of options available to Steve up front. The full time whistle blew, which was where the real drama began – Hertsmere Borough’s Elton was close to beating up a chubby white kid, but instead chose to take his anger out on the sign post and then hold his hand in pain. The scene was rounded off with the sight of Ryan baring all to passers-by in Borehamwood.
