A much better team performace this week to secure the first win of the season & push us up to 4th in the table.
A great run & strike from Charlotte to settled the nerves down in the first half that we dominated but did not get the rewards for the dominance.
The second half we started passing the ball much better & playing as a team much better, it started to look more like the team that finished last season.
I was very happy to see Grace had listened when i said at half tome if you get a chance even from outside the box get the ball out of your feet & have a go, her reward was a very nice left footed goal from outside the box.
Amy L started to show glimpses of the player she developed into last season and got her reward with a very well struck goal to put us 3 up.
When Rushall got a goal back after a mix up at the back & started to throw everything at us, i was very pleased with the way we soaked up the pressure & dealt with it.
If we can build on this performance we are headding in the right direction, we need to keep playing with width, try to keep playing with our heads up looking for the ball to play, keep the team spirit & fight going.
If we can keep improving week on week we will have a good rewarding season.
