Away league match played on 18 October 2015.
Kicked off at 10:25 AM

The game today was against blackshots and after last week everyone seemed up for the game and hoping to continue the good form from last week, unfortunately we wasn't able to keep the same 11 that come off the pitch at the end of the game last week but still started the game with a strong 11 and the most amount of subs that we have had for the last few weeks.

The game started and within in minutes we had a chance to go ahead with Bobby not able to hit the net, just the keeper, as the first half gathered momentum so did Thames as they had at least 4 good chances to go ahead but was unable to take the game by the scruff of the neck. Blackshots rarely threatened while only playing 1 up front as our defence managed to keep them quiet.

We had an incident after about 30 mins as Luke went to clear the ball but instead smashed it against a helpless seph and he took it in the side of the head which seemed to rock him as he spent a few minutes on the floor trying to remember what happened, Not too long later and after yet another opportunity to go ahead in a half that we completely dominated, seph didn't feel himself as he was asking what position he was playing, it seemed the knock to the head had more effect than first thought but once told he managed to pick the ball up on the right hand side run across the pitch beating 3 players and shooting over the keeper across goal only to hit the crossbar.

The first half ended and we couldn't believe that we wasn't in the lead but we never made the most of our chances and their keeper did make a few good saves, seph was asked how he felt and said he was fine but with the second half started we won a corner and seph asked the ref how long was left, well seeing as we had just started the first half we realised he wasn't right and was soon subbed but not before blackshots went ahead from a very lucky goal that came off the head of their player and lobbed Steve who tried to get something to push it over but was unfortunate not too.

Not believing that we was behind in a game we had dominated we pushed on to get an equaliser but unfortunately we tried to run the ball out of our half and was caught leaving the back 4 exposed and with a flick over the top, one of their players ran through picked the ball up and managed to sneak the ball into the far post.

2-0 down and we couldn't believe it. luckily with dirosh coming on for an injured Luke jaw he set up Thames first goal with a nice ball through to Bobby and he finally slotted to make it 2-1 and back in the game, but it wasn't long till we was back to 2 behind as we sat off their striker and he picked the ball up edge of the box he turned and hit a shot that bounced off one post hit the other and crept in,

With not long left we didn't give up and still made chances but with stamina running out a few were fluffed luckily Bobby managed to get the ball to langleys feet and he turned hit a shot low into the bottom corner not quite sure how it beat the keeper because it looked like it just rolled along the floor but his first goal for the team 3-2

We tried to push on to get a draw but it didn't come and the game ended 3-2 we came off the pitch not quite believing the result in a game we should of won and to add salt to the wound the ref told the gaffer he couldn't see how we lost that game as we totally dominated.

Another 3-2 loss and we can't seem to find our shooting boots against teams we should be beating comfortably but as we are only 5 games in with still plenty left to play and the league still quite even anything is possible this season.

Now on to 2 home games with us hoping to get 6 points from 6 and kickstarting our season with still plenty of cups to challenge for nothing's impossible for this team as we will get stronger the more we play with each other and will have to sort out a xmas drink to get everybody together to celebrate the festive season that's not too far away.
