Away league match played on 27 September 2015.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

Today was a change in schedule with us having to play away and at a later kick off, so after a good warm up and everyone raring to go we started off great, with the opposition a young team we knew we had to be strong in the tackle.

We started off with same formation as we ended last week, which worked out well as we started bossing the game and making some decent chances.

The more pressure we put on them the more mistakes were made and with Robin closing down that's what happened as the centre mid passed the ball straight to Seph who went on a great run past the back 4 slotting the ball nicely in the bottom corner.

Not long after and it was an even game with stifford passing the ball around too easily and scoring past a helpless Steve.

That seemed to wake us up and we started knocking the ball about really well, using the wings to full advantage and getting runners in behind the defence.

This was how we got our second goal with the ball knocked over to Bob who went on a great run and tapping it past the advancing keeper only for him to hit the post luckily Ricky gambled and continued in his efforts to help out and was reward when it came off the post with the keeper diving on and over the top of the ball and leaving it for rick to tap in which will probably be the easiest goal he will score this season.

Half time

The gaffer was in full praise of our first half efforts and insisted we keep it up for the second half, unfortunately we did the opposite, probably expecting that we was gonna run away with it and just switched off.

With few of us getting kicked by the opposition as they was looking to wind is up, Bob eventually retaliated and tried to smack the player in the back of the head with his forearm, luckily the ref didn't act and just told him to calm it down.

Not too long after that it was a drawn game again as they had a header on the edge of the box that beat Steve which was a very lucky goal to say the least.

We then knew this was gonna be a game that whoever wanted it the most was gonna get the points, we had a good 3-4 chances that if wasn't straight at the keeper would of been goals, including one from me that was way way off target,

They started coming back at us with some good passing play and a shot that made Steve have to go full stretch to make a great save, not long after that we found ourselves behind for the first time in the game with a run from thier striker being able to play it through steves legs and into the net.

With legs tiring and ricks boots hurting him quite bad we made two subs, with not long left we had a corner that bounced out to Langley who hit it sweet but they managed to stop the ball on the line and clear, that just summed up our afternoon.

Full time

After a great first half we threw all the hard work and win away, with a sloppy second half performance in a game we should of won.

We know we can do it just gotta make sure we bounce back from this match with a win next week.
