Home league match played on 27 September 2009.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

The game did'nt feel too competitive or have any sort of edge it due to not having an official ref again for the fixture and having no goal keeper. These 2 reasons may go some way in explaining probably the worst display this season.

The game soon swung in our favour when a lofted ball was headered on by M.Wildon, controlled by A.Morley who was only 8 minutes into his debut when he half volleyed high into the net above the helpless keeper.

Narwoz Utd did have most of the posession first half and moved the ball around better, it counted for nothing though as they did'nt have a shot on target in the first 45.

One a header from R.Steel would have made it 2 had it not gone just gone the wrong side of the post. Other chances fell to M.Wildon & M.Mett , had they had the confidence they should being the top scorers in the team it would have been 4-0 by the end of the first half.

The team then had to change around when A.Carroll pulled his calf on 40 mins and had to be replaced by M.Healy who also had his debut game for Ormesby and looked solid all game.

The first half finished and Ormesby went in at the break 1-0 up, the first half set the tone for the rest of the game with a lot of moaning and stopping from Narwoz who were looking for descisions and fouls which would'nt be given in a girls under 11's game.

The second half was played out much like the first but with a change around forced by injuries throughout the team, M.Carney decided to go in goal to avoid making a substitution after his hamstring went, H.Ahmed came out of goal to replace him in defence.

The second goal did'nt take long to come in the second half when M.Mett slid a ball through to M.Wildon who carried the ball 20 yards towards the goal then finished down to the keepers right.

Another injury was forced on 60 mins when R.Steel tweaked his hamstring and had to come off for J.Nunn to replace him in midfield.

M.Mett then got his deserved goal when a ball was put forward, after a few headers in the box one was put accross from R.Steel and fell at his feet for him to tap in.

The 4th goal came from right side with C.Blackburn carrying the ball forward giving a short pass to M.Mett to knock it back to him to place accuratley in the far corner past the rooted keeper.

There were a few more chances that came our way one which M.Wildon lashed against the bar from a good break, and another oppertunity when A.Morley noticed the keeper off his line and tried to lob him from the half way line with the ball just going wide.

The final goal came to M.Mett who latched onto a ball from the right from C.Blackburn pushed it past the defender to be in on goal only to be fouled and win the penalty, which was smashed in by him confidently.

To be frank the game was a joke from start to finish and felt like a kick in the park with jumpers for goal posts, there were a few positives like the chances created, a clean sheet and 2 players having impressive debuts.
