Yes boys,
Mixed thoughts on the game Saturday if I’m honest, we seem to be struggling at the moment to match the intensity we carry on a Sunday some of look a little laboured in comparison’s to the buzz of a KYL game at the moment.. something for me to ensure changes quickly.
The game itself lads after giving a dubious penalty away was total domination without having that cutting edge in front of goal.
I’d be interested to see what the possession stats on the game were but I think we probably had around 70% of the ball without hurting Dartford enough, way too many times lads we took the extra touch, or hit a wayward pass or perhaps was to heavy on the ball, we have to pick the quality up in key moments, had we had moved the ball with the same zip we did Sunday you would have won the game comfortably but we didn’t.
We will continue to work on our patterns and getting key players in good areas but after that chaps it’s up to you to make good decisions on the ball, your under 14s so they won’t always be right, but we need to swing the decision making into more right than wrong when we are on the ball.
Jurrell great finish, very clever to lift that over the Keepers head when he was on rushing like that, as you have been since you come back through the door, use it as a platform now to really kick on and become a fixture in how we play!
Bailey/Ethan I thought you showed some moments of quality as well throughout the game, you do get days where it looks like it just isn’t clicking (we saw the total opposite against Sevenoaks the following day)
