Sevenoaks Town 0 vs 9 Unique FC U14

Chaps,

By far and away the best performance of the season thus far, we looked fluid, fit, hungry and we put Sevenoaks to the sword.

So many positives but I’ll highlight a few, I loved the shape first and foremost, we set up in a 4-3-3 almost lopsided with Lemar and Jurrell playing as a front 2 allowing Bailey and Kai bombing on to create a front 4 that Sevenoaks just couldn’t handle.. I lost count of the amount of times Kai galloped into space into the first half or Ethan slid Bailey in on the left, it was really good to see & something we can build on.

We looked solid as a back-line, Oscar on the front foot with Max, Theo and George sweeping up any issues we had, Malik I think you have had a great start to the season I have to say and you & Noah kept us ticking in midfield, it was a very balanced display.

Set pieces!! After working on them on Thursday we finally look a threat again. Wonderful deliveries & some great goals, very pleasing.

Well done boys we have had a solid start in the Central & we have some tougher tests coming with Cray Wanderers on Sunday before trips to Erith and Belvedere and Erith Town so let’s make sure we build on the start.

We have a rare Saturday off so let’s use the rest wisely and make sure we are flying for the game Sunday.

I’ll see you all tomorrow for a buzzy session ahead of the weekend.

Well done fellas.
