Chaps,
Going to keep this one short & sweet as it was a really tough one to take.
I have to accept that the effort and application the day before for a lot of us caught up on us, coupled with Thomas being injured after about 5 mins as-well as Henry soldering on in the second half it was a really rough afternoon against a team we absolutely destroyed in pre-season, I knew it was going to be a leveller but I felt we should and still feel now we should have had enough to beat respectfully a really poor side.
We can’t continue to gift team goals boys and constantly be fighting back, it’s the fourth game in a row we are gifting goals and having to fight back, we were set up to play longer with the wind & gave a ball away overplaying at the back & when you play poor sides boys when you give them hope it’s a tough mountain to climb, add in the fact we were depleted & running on empty you have to manage games better as a group.
Having said that boys I also have to accept the ask placed on you physically and the impact that had on the group.
Let’s dust ourselves down and get ready for a big weekend of games.
Jurrell well done on Sunday I thought you had some really good moments again.
Cheers H
