Yes boys!!!

That is better, a big win that and just as important a throughly dominate performance.

I will start by addressing the obvious lads that for large parts of this season we have been hampered by players being unavailable, injuries, asking players to play 80 mins on a Saturday & push themselves physically again on a Sunday, we plan/planned on rotating across the two days but it hasn’t quite panned out that way for various reasons.

Today for the first time this season we had a fully fit and available squad, we had balance, we had fresh legs and we had options to change the game in our favour, if we can stick together and get consistency for games, you’ll have a lot more days like today.

The game itself I thought we dominated, it was a similar story in a sense of us not getting the important goal when dominating, the difference today we were solid at the back, Oscar you looked back to your assured self, Thomas and Theo I thought you were exceptional as a partnership against a lively front two, George & Doniel offered us two natural full-backs.

In midfield we had balance with Noah/Max with Ethan/Leon in front, two out and out wingers in Bailey and Kai & two options through the middle of Lemar and Jurrell & eventually boys you got your all important goal which was the very least you deserved today.

I’m struggling to think of a time Kent troubled us at all or we had a save to make throughout the game which is very pleasing after how we have given goals away in recent weeks, without stating the obvious of having Theo back in the building made & has made since you have been with us a massive difference, I thought you was exceptional today welcome back.

I loved how wide we stayed today and the runs we made from in to out, we were so close to getting on the end of them & scoring numerous times in the game, we looked a real threat throughout & although Lemar picked his moment with a couple of mins left, the goal had been coming and anything other than 3 points wouldn’t have been fair.

4-3-3 & then a 4-2-4 later in the game we looked really good today chaps & you all played for each other, we know the importance of the victory today heading into two big cup games next weekend and I’m delighted for the group we found a way, Mal I thought you done a great job on the winger when moving to RB later in the game when George tired later in the game, you seem to step up wherever you play on the pitch & after leaving in a ambulance a couple of weeks ago it’s great to see you back out there.

That was the standard today lads, let’s maintain it now!

Couple of bits of housekeeping chaps.

1. Timekeeping - be on time for match days, we changed the line up today based on arrival times, get yourself in on time, it’s a 1:15pm meet! Our standards start there.

2. Our new playerdata pods have arrived as a few were faulty from earlier in the season, so we will be rolling those out again from next week, I’ll send a message out about this as some of you don’t have accounts yet so will need to set up, it’s a great tool for us to track intensity and how hard your working.

Well done today lads, let’s build on the win.
