Abbeytown Ladies FC is a women's football team based in Abbeytown, Cumbria, England. They were founded in 1999 and currently play in the Cumberland FA Women's League.
History
Abbeytown Ladies FC were founded in 1999 by a group of women who wanted to play football in the area. The team started out in the West Cumberland Women's League and quickly progressed through the divisions. In 2012, they joined the Cumberland FA Women's League, where they have remained ever since.
The team has enjoyed a lot of success in recent years. They have won the Cumberland FA Women's League title four times, in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. They have also won the Cumberland FA Women's Challenge Cup twice, in 2017 and 2018.
