Bromsgrove Sporting Colts U8's (2023/24 season) started out at U7's for the 2022/23 season. A squad that was put together from the Bromsgrove Sporting Colts development centre entered the Mercian league for their first ever season.

After a slow start and with the boys finding their feet we eventually settled in to a rhythm that saw us have a very strong second half of the season. We also finished runners up after reaching the cup final in our very first 5 v 5 tournament.

This bunch of strangers who were put together in the summer of 2022 are now a strong group of friends who love football and are eager to work hard and improve their games.

We can't wait to see what the new season will bring!

The team was formed in 2018 by a group of parents who wanted to provide their children with the opportunity to play football in a competitive environment. The team has grown rapidly since its formation and now has over 20 players.

Recent Successes

The team won the George Goode Memorial Cup in 2022.
They finished runners-up in the MJFL Division 1 in 2021.
They have won several other trophies at local tournaments.
